COINONIA is a high-end duo brand of Korean designer Kiho Kim and Japanese designer Momoko Hashigami. The brand name was inspired by the Greek word 'Koinonia' (Sharing, Relationship, Communication).
Koinonia is a label created by sharing his sincerity, passion, and philosophy for fashion and life. These two designers create koinonia between people and bring new ideas into their daily lives. In other words, it means the ideal state of the relationship and communication.
Under the theme of 'Conceptual Mode', this exhibition presents conceptual and modern clothes and accessories of KOINonia, which aims to integrate art and fashion. Experimental architectural forms of silhouettes, dynamic cuts, and elaborate details and colors are used to define their own world.
In Koinonia's costumes, a conceptual concept story and atmosphere coexist, and a feminine yet masculine, dynamic but static, soft yet strong paradox is presented. This contradictory mix is used as a creative element in a new design and becomes a source of creation.
In this exhibition, their 2011-2012 F/W collection Off-Tension' and 2012 S/S collection 'Dual Nature'. You can meet the dress sculptures made in the high seas.
